Papa – The story teller Part II

I know i promised ‘papa. the poet’. Its been so long, that papa himself has forgotten the lyrics of this ‘Poem’ i was talking about. Also, kiddo seems to listen very intently to stories rather than poems. So here it goes, unleashing husband’s so called creativity, or the lack of it 😀

Baby, you know Humpty Dumpty. Humpty Dumpty is an egg. He was all alone, So he decided he would get a girl friend. Humpty went to Old Mc. Donalds farm, to ask  for a girl friend, since Old Mc. Donald had a farm, with all the animals everywhere. 

Old Mc. Donald said he would give a girlfriend to Humpty, and Humpty has to give him money. But Humpty did not have money, you know why baby? Because Humpty was an egg. He did not have pockets. So where would he keep the money? So he did not get a girl friend.

Dejected, he left that place. He thought he will commit suicide and climbed the wall and sat there. Meanwhile, Jack and Jill, who were up on the hill toppled and fell down the hill. Jack fell on Humpty, and Humpty fell off the wall.  And Humpty broke!

And you know what happened after that? Adhrit are omelette made of Humpty Dumpty. 

😀 😀 😀 😀 And the husband wins again! The baby’s attention that is!

I get up in the morning, whenever the kid gets up. I need not worry about the time,or the way I am dressed. I don’t have to brush and get out of the room. I can fold my bedsheets at any time of the day,or just leave it like that. I can stretch myself and yawn,at ten in the day, or may be 12 also.

I need not worry about what to cook next. I need not keep dusting the house. I need not worry about making the food presentable. I can bathe any time I want. I can sleep at any time I want. I can watch TV channels,other than star plus.

I need not comb my hair and sit like a doll in evening. I need not ask anyone, when making tea or eating junk at odd hours. I need not wash utensils at night before sleeping. I can wait unlimited hours for the maid to come n sweep. I can just sit idle doing nothing. I can pick out boogers in the middle of the day, in the middle of the house . 

I feel liberated. I feel free. I am free. Short duration, but I am free!
